(Cue triumphant music)
Dec. 11th, 2002 03:30 pmLast day of class was today, for me. One semester down, three to go! (Took my physics final last night, scored a 92, received an A for the semester - OH, JOYOUS DAY!) Two more finals next week, these at TCU: Marine Ecology, and Graduate Statistics (bleah, and bleah again).
Today I:
Now I can't decide whether to take a celebratory nap, or make a celebratory trip to Majestic Liquors (it's a liquor store, not a movie theatre, I swear!) for some margarita fixin's.
*sigh* It's the tough choices that make life difficult....
Today I:
- ...attended my very last lecture,
- ...listened to four *painful* student presentations from the li'l undergrads (which sounds horribly demeaning of me, until you realize that after the lecture, my professor wandered into the computer lab where I was working, and commented with a pained expression about how it was a shame such a *wonderful* journal paper got massacred in presentation)
- ...finished my five-page paper on that paragon of scientific literature, Stephen Jay Gould
- ...marvelled that Ernst Mayr (b. 1904; age 98) is still alive, kicking, and TEACHING - RETIRE, MAN! RETIRE!
- ...and came home to blissful rest.
Now I can't decide whether to take a celebratory nap, or make a celebratory trip to Majestic Liquors (it's a liquor store, not a movie theatre, I swear!) for some margarita fixin's.
