Yesterday was November the 19th.

The day before was November the 18th.

On the 18th, while going through my ancient box of cassette tapes (sorting into: No Longer Works; No Longer Want; Never Wanted; Have Replaced With CD; What The Hell Is On This One?!?; Hey, I've Been Looking For This!; and Oooh, I Probably Should Have Given This Back...), I found a cassette I bought off a friend back in 1994.

The friend was Brandon Schott, one of the other singers on Sound of America tour with me. Brandon, Kevin, Erica, and I were inseparable all over Italy, and it was a blast! Brandon had sold cassettes of his amateur music - stuff he composed, recorded, and produced with some home equipment - and I'd picked one up from him before the end of tour.

On the 19th, I listened to the tape again, went, "Hey, he was really good - I wonder if he's got a CD out by now? I'll hop online and do a search for him!"

Found his website - see above. Sent him an e-mail. ("I'm not a stalker, I promise - but don't I know you?") Got a reply. ("HOLY SHIT! How did you FIND me?") I feel ALL warm and fuzzy. (And, hey, I kenw him before he was famous!)

But the creepy thing?

Yes. He has a CD out - his first release.

Its release date?

November 18th, 2003.

Wow.
