Well! I've turned in my final project for Limnology, which means it's official! I'm done with my M.S. degree... .... AFTER I take my orals, and write and defend my thesis.
It's all very anti-climactic, the way my last few requirements will trickle in one by one over the next couple of months.
Meanwhile, though, I've been having nightmares. Not the sort I had when I was a child, where I would have weeks upon weeks of nightmares about snakes sneaking into my home (like they do) and stalking me (like they do) and just waiting on the PERFECT TIME to sneak up and bite me (as we all know snakes do, because they are by nature malicious and hateful). No, the nightmares I've had, two out of the last three nights, have been far, far more terrifying in a completely different way.
I've been dreaming about kittens. In the dreams, I adopt an ADORABLE new kitten, usually from the pound or off the street.
What? Not scary? IT IS TO ME! Genrou and Nexus are enough of a handful... and I know perfectly well that if I found a kitten on the street corner, it would SO be coming home with me. -.-
I view this as a cosmic warning. MUST AVOID ADOPTION WEEK AT PETSMART at all costs!
