Fly-by LJ Post

Back from NY/Canada, AKA places it is still COMFORTABLY COOL right now. Nearly died when I stepped off the plane into 97 degree weather. Ow. PortalFest much fun. Have done nothing but eat for the past week. No more food for me for the next, say, WEEK. I have not yet felt the need to eat today. O_O

Second thesis draft, having been in the hands of my advisors since before I left, has not been returned by two of the three. Of course. I am tracking them down today and threatening to break their thumbs. I have to have at least one of them sign off on it by TOMORROW.

The end is near. Rah!
