Scariest Nightmare EVER.
Jul. 23rd, 2004 10:08 am....I dreamed the sun went away.
Not went out, or started to fade - just disappeared overnight, and failed to rise the next day.
In my dream, I was sitting in the kitchen drawing an illustration for something - another problem I was trying to solve. Because since yesterday, something had been wrong... I just didn't know what the cause was, yet. Then the phone rang, and I picked it up to hear a man's voice. I thought he was a campaigning politician. I think he said, "Hi, this is Mr. Bailey. What can I do to help you?" I did not want to talk to a politician, and I answered, "I'm sorry; no offense, but I can't do this," and hung up on him.
Still, something wrong - and I couldn't put my finger on what. Then I wandered into my parents' room. Dad was still asleep, Mom was in her nightgown by the window looking out, and I realized what was wrong was that it was nearly noon, and it was pitch-black outside. I could hear crickets. That's when mom pointed up and said, "It's gone."
AUGH.
