Life: The Series!

And the drama continues.

Returned to DFW on Saturday night, driving GT's Chevrolet Behemoth. (This truck, incidentally, is the largest vehicle I've ever commanded since puttering around Georgia in my dad's Ford Bronco. If you strap a brick to the gas it can maintain sixty up a hill, but no matter how fast or slow I am going, I HAVE RIGHT OF WAY. Because I am BIG.)

Realized that if I didn't want to fork over another hundred dollars, I had to be checked out of my Box by noon on Sunday. Fuck. Went to talk to the front desk, because surely a place that rents by the week and the month could give me a couple of extra hours.

But, no. Not only no, but 'we're gonna be assholes about it' no. Stayed up till six AM packing, crashed out till nine, got up and finished, with much vital assistance from Warsaw and the Ewings. I'm staying with them for the next few days; what is not in the house with me is living in the Behemoth.

Thursday or Friday, I'll be moving back to Memphis, where free rent in Mom's garage apartment awaits me. SEE YOU SOON, Memphis people.
