Grouch, grouch, grumble....oooh, shiny!

That pretty much sums up my mood swings the past couple of days.

Went to Lichterman today to apply for the part-time instructor positions, which I'd been told really needed filling. Unfortunately I discovered that they're being paid for by the City of Memphis, and Lichterman is not allowed to hire anyone from outside the Memphis city limits, even part-time. SUCK. It really pissed me off. And then it made me sad. And so I moped around all pissy for most of today.

And then I went to Starbucks for contraband Pumpkin Spice Latte, and saw a woman with two kids, both of whom were pitching an absolute fit. And I felt better about my own life.

Meanwhile, I had to make a list today, because I'm going to go visit/have lunch/dinner/coffee with somebody I know on every day from now through Monday. It is SO GOOD to be back in Memphis. Love you guys.
