Happy Pumpkin Day!

Halloween party at the Trout Pond was a blast, though we missed shadowstitch. Lots of awesome costumes. I think my favorites were stationary_jew as Marcus Brody - a shockingly simple but effective costume that made me giggle madly - and dayoff's Dorian Gray. And, of course... Elvis.

Came home last night just in time for a cloudburst thunderstorm. It sounded awesome on the garage roof, which I'm directly beneath. Going to sleep through thunderstorms is one of my favorite things in the world, so that's *my* Halloween treat. It's lower-calorie than candy, too!

Kick-back day today; got up and hit the halfprice candy at Wal-mart, picked tomatoes in the front yard, and generally lounged about online. I feel all countri-fied out here.

Speaking of which, I learned how to drive the tractor the other day. Go, manly me! Despite our occasional disagreements, there are times when I remember just how cool my mom is. Feh on the riding mower. She owns five acres, and uses a tractor rig to mow her lawn.

Gonna skip on game-night at TroutPond tonight. I'm not really into board games, and got a heavy dose of social last night.
