I'm in control of the situAAAAAAAAAUGH!!!

That was sort of me this morning. I was WELL situated for departure for Houston on Thursday. Then the weather decided to threaten nasty things, and it became obvious that leaving on Wednesday morning is far, far wiser if I want to be assured of actually making it out of town.

You may laugh at my faith in the weatherman's prediction that it will snow all you want. But the fact is that even if it doesn't, the BUCKETS OF RAIN due to fall on the streets tomorrow are likely to be frozen from now until Sunday.

And my mustang sees ice or snow of any kind, screams, and runs away. Except that it CAN'T GO ANYWHERE, so it just sort of whimpers and hunkers down in place.

So. Houston for me tomorrow. Panic for me today. If you haven't seen or heard from me online, this is why.
