Santa's been here! And he brought me PAIN!

Which is to say, I (finally) went back to the gym today. And Curves appears to have gotten a new machine. AND IT HATES ME. I have such a pitiful lack of upper body strength. Which means, of course, that it will be good for me, but ow.

No more news yet on the stolen check. I've asked Copper Crossing to give my phone number to their accounting department so they can call me directly instead of playing this 'ask them X and let me know' game. Unfortunately this still leaves me at the mercy of someone else's return call, with which I have had very little luck.

Active pursuit of jobs has been initiated once more. Sigh.
