Mooooohahahahahahaha!
Jan. 18th, 2005 03:28 pmWent to bed virtuously early last night: 10:30 (I can only term it 'virtuously' early, because for me, just plain early is anytime before 3). The plan was that this way, when I had to get up at 5:30 to be at Kaplan at 7am, I would be well-rested. Since after a tasty, tasty batch of sukiyaki made by
alsafi, I was full of food and drowsy, it was surprisingly easy to crash, and crash hard.
The moral of this story is that virtue does not pay: I woke up at three, and was unable to go back to sleep.
Then wonderful Kaplan boss brought in doughnuts (yes, more doughnuts) and milk for us for breakfast, so I was a) Tired; and b) On a sugar-high. This was good, since we proceeded to spend the morning out in the cold, passing out flyers and freezing off calories.
Then wonderful
storm_dancer lured us over to her office for coffee. And, at least according to the woman behind the counter, there was no decaf available. So I am now: a) Tired; b) On a sugar-high (doughnuts have worn off, but coffee has not); AND c) strung out on caffeine... which I have zero tolerance for, right now.
I'm going to be a blithering idiot for the rest of the day.
But it will be fun.
