Irony.

After all the trouble I went to, updating my PowerPoint for today's presentation, the docents did not have AV equipment set up - because my "contact" hasn't contacted me in three weeks, and neither of us had any idea what to expect. Over my insistence that it wasn't necessary, they kindly called IT to set up the projector, anyway...

...and when the time came for me to speak, I discovered the A/V hookup was mightily unhappy. Rather than spending ten minutes fiddling with it, I gave my 45-minute talk cold.

Damn, I'm good.
