Epiphany!

I think Genrou is terrified of the vacuum because I use it to clean up cat hair.

Given that I estimate cat hair to make up approximately 90% of his body mass, he must figure it's only a matter of time before, by definition, HE gets schlorked up into the vacuum bag.

That's the only explanation I can come up with. Stick with me on this one, folks.

On the other hand, Nexus has - after six years - realized that the vacuum is not her enemy. Oh, noes! Now what am I going to do to punish her when she's been bad? Normally, I just clean the house.

Mary Sue Rides Again!

Meme snitched from... many, many folks, but I blame alliath for this one:

1. Go to the Elouai doll maker.
2. Make an ordinary doll of yourself and save it.
3. Take that doll and, leaving a couple things (nose, eyebrows, whatever) the same, Mary Sue yourself. Make the most blatant Mary Sue you can conceive.
4. Post "Before" and "After" in your LJ. Bonus points if your Sue has a backstory of some kind.
