Raaaaaa~~~~in!
Nov. 15th, 2005 03:23 pmCollierville has, so far, missed the worst of the nastiness. We just have some very nice thunder and rain. It interrupted my lunch with GF and
storm_dancer and kept me from swinging by GameStop to pick up Alter Code F ...
...but that last part turns out to be okay. Turns out WA:ACF ships today, but we can't pick it up off the shelves till tomorrow. Waugh!
I'm somewhat comforted by the arrival of my second Twelve Kingdoms box set. Now if I can just be good, and spend the afternoon working on lecture materials instead of goofing off, I'll have more time to bond with my PS2 the rest of the week.
I'm still not sure what I'm going to do about tonight. The weather forecasts are a little scary, and the tornado watches don't worry me nearly as much as the dreaded phrase that's cropped up once or twice: Straight-line windstorms. Those things do not love midtown, and I'm not really sure I want to be on the road tonight. I'm sort of hoping Chorale rehearsel will be cancelled.
For now, however, I'm curled up nice and cozy inBFE Collierville, and I'm about to go sit on the porch and watch the rain. Yay, rain!
