Happy Thoughts.

Humanity's population growth? Exponential.
Hmmm. Where have we seen this before? All over. Other species do it, too.
And what happens to THEM? Catastropic disease results in population crash (AKA Nature Hitting The Soft Reset Button).
...Soooo, yeah. We can only tweak the system so much; as the world's population grows, it's bound to become correspondingly harder, logistically, to effectively distribute vaccinations and medical treatment. Eventually, something's going to get the drop on us. If Bird Flu doesn't do it, something else will.
The good news is, it'll solve overpopulation, water shortages, and maybe even some of the pollution problem.
The bad news? Well, I don't want to be one of the ones to die. Do you?
