In other news, I spent today driving around BFE Mississippi looking through pawn shops. Discovered the hard way that most pawn shops close at one PM on Saturdays, but the trip wasn't a total loss: I rescued a turtle from the middle of Highway 6. Poor baby looked so pitiful - he was right on the yellow line, and every time a car drove by, he'd hide his head back inside his shell. Miraculously he'd gotten that far without getting hit. I took him to the woods in the direction he was headed. <3
