It does amuse me (with no disrespect meant to those who suffered losses from Katrina and Rita last year) that we're all so fixated on our belief that the HURRICANES ARE GOING TO WIPE US FROM THE FACE OF THE PLANET in the next thirty years that the headline 'Hurricane Warning Issued' makes the front-page big-picture article on cnn.com.... and for something that's expected to make landfall as a baby storm, at that. This time last year, we wouldn't have blinked.
Who, us? Gunshy?
I mock, a bit, but I'm as morbidly curious about which city is going to be wiped off the coastline this year as the next guy. I'm just hoping it isn't anywhere in South Carolina.
