All those plants people have put up with me collecting all summer? That's about to pay off. I've got a total of 80 pressed plants in my collection at present.
I found out this week that I'm required to turn in 30 species for Plant Taxonomy.
*dances*
Of course, the prof wants 30 *perfect* specimens, with duplicates, so only a fraction of what I've got will be good enough - but I'm willing to bet that I've got at least ten really good presses out of it, and that'll put me up to speed for the first deadline at the end of October. I love being ahead of the game.
It happens so rarely. :P
It certainly didn't happen this morning; I overslept, and had less than half an hour to get ready to leave the house. So glad tomorrow is Friday.
