Blah. Tuesday.
Oct. 3rd, 2006 07:43 amI did NOT want to get out of bed this morning. You know those dreams that are so entertaining that you really want to see what happens at the end? My alarm clock dragged me out of one of those. In a vain attempt to recapture it, I hit snooze once too many times, so I'm all discombobulated this morning.
However, a friend sent me a link to Weird Al's White and Nerdy music video, and it gave me a laugh and perked me up a little bit. There's nothing like trying not to giggle so loudly your officemate gives you funny looks to wake a body up.
As my friend told me, however... some parts of it may hit too close to home for some of us.
...But, hey. That's not how I acquired my copy of the Star Wars Christmas Special.
Well... not quite.
In other news,
andric made me an awesome icon! *heartbubbles* My father is back from China (for values of 'back' that consist of 'not yet home, but in the country'). I've been handed a week-long midterm exam that consists of four essay questions, and will probably be over ten pages long once I'm done. *whimper*
And I've decided to cut back on my hours at work. I'll miss the extra income, but I think I'm doing too much right now; it's starting to run me ragged. (Besides, when all I have to DO at work is post on LJ, it's not as though I can rationalize that they NEED me here.) Gotta talk to the boss today. I hate this part. I always have this fear that he'll say, "Well, if that's all the time you can put in, then we really don't need you at all." Ah, well. We'll see what happens.
