Home again, home again....
Dec. 28th, 2006 06:40 pm...yay! And I get to stay home for a while, this time!
More good news: My newoverlord and master kitty arrives tomorrow. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hawklady is bringing Casper, a four-year-old Somali, to live with me. So, presently I'm trying to put the house 1) into some semblance of presentability for company, and 2) into a kitty-proof state, since unlike Nexus and Gen-chan, Casper does not nap all day. :P
The activity's good for me, as it encourages me to actually start cleaning up all my Christmas decorations/paper/detritus and get them packed away, instead of sitting on my tail and doing nothing.
It's still Christmas for me, though: Since I was at Dad's, I haven't yet given Mom and Gary their gifts, and there were several people absent from the holiday parties I attended, for whom I still have goodies squirreled away. It's sort of fun, like I'm prolonging the season.
