Casper has officially joined the family, and Nexus is predictably grouchy. But she came forward and sniffed noses with him before hissing at him, and she's stayed active and maybe just a teensy bit curious since he's been here, so I am encouraged.
Casper himself is TINY and DARLING, and a little devil on four paws. He dismantled his carrier on the way to Oxford. (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hawklady let him ride in the car with her, and while she drove, he unscrewed four of the wingnuts holding the top and bottom of the carrier together.) I've already locked the birds away in the guest room until I can get the dove howdied in with the canaries, whose cage mount has been put HIIIIIGH on the wall.
But no matter where you are, he wants to be in the room with you. He follows you up and down the hall, and Hawklady is right: There are no strangers, in Casper's world. Only best friends he hasn't met yet.
