Jun. 17th, 2007 08:28 amFriday I set out to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Daughter, and drove to Fripp Island to surprise my dad for Father's Day.

In any case, it has been a fine weekend. We got out on the boat today and failed to catch any fish of significance, despite watching schools of spadefish swim right under the boat, turning their noses up at our bait. (I think they were deterred by the ENORMOUS SCHOOL OF FRICKIN' BARRACUDA that shadowed us all day. WTF, man!?! Barracuda don't school, especially the four-foot-long variety. What's up with that?) Tomorrow I venture home (assuming all requisite bridges are cooperative), and it's back to work and school on Tuesday.
