Zombies, Jill! :(
Sep. 2nd, 2007 03:45 amI just woke up from a FUCKING CREEPY NIGHTMARE. I am deliberately keeping myself awake for a little while so that I do not resume or recycle the dream when I fall asleep again.
The bulk of the dream is garbled and not easy to remember, but the ending is still really vivid. We were stuck in the middle of a cemetery and ALL OF MY FRIENDS except
rabidlemur had been turned into the walking dead. Forget the debate about fast zombies versus slow zombies. Scarier still are malicious, intelligent zombies who can talk and joke as they hold you down and prepare to slaughter you so that you'll become one of them.
whisperflight, please do not be offended if I run screaming the next time I see you. I may be reliving the moment when you placed a hand against the center of my back to feel my heartbeat, and made a feigned little noise of surprise as you asked innocently, "Well, well... what's this?" The hi-I'm-here-for-your-planet smile has NEVER BEEN SCARIER. AUGH.
P.S.
rabidlemur: Thanks for nothing. Do you know what you were doing as my friends prepared to slaughter me? THAT'S RIGHT. YOU WERE SNAPPING PICTURES LIKE IT WAS THE GREATEST PHOTO OP IN THE WORLD. :P
I... think I'm going to read for a little while before I go back to sleep.
