Weekend of awesome!
Sep. 24th, 2007 05:36 pmI have awesome friends. It is fun to get older when it's another year you get to celebrate having awesome friends. (Psst. THAT'S YOU GUYS. ♥ ) Thanks, folks.
This weekend was great! I got to hang out at the lake with some of the aforementioned friends, THEN got to see Brian Regan at the Orpheum. (Thank you again for arranging it all,
demonlet - I am so glad someone else wanted to go.) Even today's bleary-eyed exhaustion does not make me one bit regretful.
Also, if you don't have an Amazon wishlist - SET ONE UP. People really do use them. I am witnessing for the wishlist because this weekend I received a couple of books and a DVD that I'd really wanted, YAY... ... but also, because, dude: Christmas is coming up. I need ideas for some of y'all.
The only downside to the weekend of awesome: Now I really want to settle down and drink some of my tasty new tea and read one of my awesome books and perhaps watch Eddie Izzard. But I also want to collapse into a sleepy coma for the next fourteen hours.
Reading or healthful sleep.... Reading or sleep...
Some choices are too cruel to inflict upon mankind. ;_;
