I just had the following conversation with a contractor:

Me: "Hey, did you and Brad take the white truck out on Friday?"
Him: "Yeah."
Me: "Could you try and remember to lock it when you're done? I keep my waders and some other stuff in there that might actually get stolen in this town."
Him: "Oh. Sure. ... ... Uh, how do you lock it? I've never seen anything that looked like, you know, a lock."
Me: "... ... You just, um, push down on the lock-thingy by the window? You know, manually?"
Him: "... ... Oh."

I... I don't know what to say.
