Gulp.

One of the other contractors was laid off yesterday. They told her they didn't have the funds to keep her position. Mind you, this person had been coming in very little because of school (1-2 hours a week, maybe? But I never saw her, so it might have been less...) and announced that she was going to pick up 40 hours a week again, but still -- scary. Changes are being made around here. I'm a little worried that my job might not survive those changes.

The question is, how many important-sounding projects can I keep on my desk at once?
