Today I took advantage of the drought: My rain barrels had run completely empty so I did something that's needed doing for a while. I took them apart, rinsed the sediment out, and set them up again on cinder blocks so I'll get more water pressure.
Three hours later we got the first good rain we've had in weeks. One of the barrels is now completely full and the other's half-full of rainwater.
Do I have great timing, or what?
