My stepmother is in the mandatory evacuation area - their home is barely twenty miles from Galveston. She's moved safely inland, but it's scary to think that she and Dad could lose their house to the storm. I'll be thinking a lot about them in the next couple of days.
Today is Dad's birthday. :P
(Speaking of which, happy birthday,
eaterofcrayons!)
In other news, I hope to get a lot done this weekend. I've set goals for myself and plan to be productive, so -- maybe there's hope. The closer I get to my comps, the easier it is for panic to override procrastination.
