Fa la la la la...

The Benma Christmas party last night was excellent. I can't remember when I've had a better time. (No, really. I can't remember. I think there was another Benma party that I really enjoyed, but there was a LOT of alcohol involved that night.)

Tonight I went to a friend's home in Oxford for their annual Caroling party. A herd of about twenty of us wandered from house to house in their neighborhood, singing to the neighbors, some of whom passed out goodies to us. We even lucked out and there was a break in the weather, so it was soggy but the thunderstorms had passed by the time we began our rounds. Then we went back to the house for hot cider, wine, and finger food, and sat around the piano singing even more. I had a blast at this party last year, and am so glad I was able to make it again! Oxford has a few wonderful things going for it. This night is one of them.

Tomorrow I've got the Solstice party, and... I need to get up and cook for it.

Now it is pumpkin time. Zzzzz...
