Home! *flop*

Ten and a half hours later, she picks up her mail, rolls in the door, and collapses (to be promptly assaulted by cats who were OMG LEFT ALL ALONE for almost an ENTIRE WEEK).

I had an excellent Christmas with Dad and the Stepmonster. I really didn't want to leave this morning. He's a huge part of my life and I hate being so far away from my dad. On the other hand... it's nice to be back in my own space, too.

Many thanks to sonicshadow for looking in on the critters while I was away. They send their thanks (and a few hairballs, but they're signs of affection. Really).

Waiting for me in the mail when I got home was a fun treat: The Wicked musical score for cello (and also an awesome card with penguins on it)! Thanks, maruah! I think I might even be able to play one or two of the songs. Not well, mind you, but it will be fun to work up to them as I go along. ♥ ♥ ♥

Now it's time to unpack and unwind.
