Velcro-kitty

Casper has been Lapcat Extraordinaire ever since I got home from the Christmas holiday. He doesn't want to play, he wants to plop in my lap and just sit there. Not napping. Not shoving his nose in my face or treading on my keyboard/game controller/book/paperwork. Just... sitting. (I love you too, baby! Don't worry, I'm not planning to replace you with a robot cat! ...Yet...)

In other news, it turns out I actually have three cats in the house. I didn't realize it until last night, but the third cat was trapped between the intake vent and the air filter. I don't think I'd changed it since before comps, and the filter was actually BLACK with ... ... stuff. And cat hair. Seriously, enough for a third cat. Oops.

The filter has since been changed, my heater doesn't have to work nearly so hard anymore, and it doesn't whistle anymore when the unit is running. Look at me, a veritable bastion of conscientious homeownership. :P
