It provides accountability ... sorta.

Yay! It's Spring Break!
Actually, the first three words alone are enough to have me jumping up and down with glee. I am definitely ready for some warm weather. I've got all my windows open today and the house is wonderfully full of fresh air.
I have taken off work this week so I can have an actual 100% break break... and do lots of schoolwork. But it's still going to be relaxing, simply by virtue of the fact that I can set my own schedule instead of watching the clock all the time.
Trying to be realistic, here's my list of things I want to complete this week.
I honestly think I can accomplish this over the next week, and still have some time to relax. In the long run, I'll have a much easier time of the semester if I can get my shit together NOW. Part of that is making lists: Having the satisfaction of crossing things off them is a much-needed carrot. I'm hoping that having an online carrot will keep me that much more honest. I'll try to keep my progress behind cuts to spare the "understandably uninterested," as I have heard it put. :)

- Catch up on readings for Wetlands Ecology
- Write new lesson and new quiz for the nonmajors lab
- Prepare next paper presentation for Wetlands (Environmental effects of hurricanes, so it's a fun one)
- Finish my Annotated Bibliography for Wetlands
- Literature search for Wetlands GIS project
- Substantial work on Dissertation Prospectus
- Prep for next MCAT class (I got good Bellwethers! I'm not sure how, but yay!)
