zoonut spent the weekend at the Monopoly Board with me, and we had a blast!

Friday night she joined me and some other grad students at Parrish's for happy hour; we went from there to Old Venice Pizza Cafe for dinner, then crashed out: Because we are old.

Saturday we went to the Hummingbird Festival in Holly Springs. It's really gorgeous out there, and we got to touch a hummingbird before it was released and feel its heartbeat. We also met one of the guys who claims to have seen the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker. Didn't see his seminar because going to seminars is almost like work, but we talked to him for a while.

Saturday night we went to the biograd student party, and I learned how to play Beer Pong. Hee, hee! What a wonderful game. Truly, it should be an Olympic sport. (I made a good showing, but quit while I was ahead -- more for sobriety's sake than that of competitiveness. Yes, I'm a wuss.)

Sunday, we saw The Illusionist.

You want to see this movie. It's a damn fine film.

Also, we bought cute clothes at J.C. Penney. Yay, cute clothes! <3 <3 It turns out it's dangerous for zoonut and I to shop together.
