Unexpected Vacation

As some of you know, my father's having pretty major surgery this month - a bypass and a valve replacement. (It's a planned procedure - he's fine at the moment, and we anticipate that everything will go smoothly.) It was tentatively scheduled for today or tomorrow, so yesterday I flew to Cleveland to be with him. This is the sort of thing that is a
Immediately after landing, I was told the doctor decided to go on vacation Friday, and pushed the surgery back till Monday. So my stay has been extended, and Dad won't be re-admitted till Monday morning.
Which leaves me here, in a four-star hotel with broadband access, no research, no homework, no work, and nothing to do but be a tourist. Oh, the horror. Wait. Did that not sound convincing? Let me try again. Oh, the horror.... Nope. Sorry. Can't muster much. (Except for that surgery thing - but we won't think about that for now.)
Today: Niagara Falls.
