A day of non-events.
My productive things today:
1) Contact DU about the status of their paid internship, broach the idea of an unpaid internship.
2) Call the Irving police and file a report.
What came of them:
1) Nothing. (There is no change in the status of the paid internship; there is no space for an unpaid intern. SO WHY THE HELL IS IT STILL POSTED?!?)
2) Nothing. (Since I am being - eventually - reimbursed, it's up to the bank that takes the loss to press charges.)
Some days, it doesn't pay to try to be productive. That is the moral of this story.
