I'm almost certain that Target pumps something into their air system, and when you step inside and inhale it, it makes you want to buy things. This is the only possible explanation for why whenever I step into Target, I think of about a dozen things I need - or, worse, see about two dozen things that I don't need, but suddenly really, really want.

And if this is not enough, now - NOW! - Target has added a little $1 section at the front of the store. While not as cool as a genuine Dollar Tree, it is dangerously alluring.
