Look, an update that isn't just a quiz or link!

I've got a busy week, about which I am generally pleased. Today's the only day until next Sunday when I don't have work of some variety. This is good.

Last night I had dinner with Benma--a very tasty chicken dish with rice and cabbage salad, all of which I want the recipe for--and finally watched The Village, which was excellent. Constantine the day before that--two good movies in two days.

Yet I'm still having sort of a 'blah' day, and I haven't the faintest idea why. I really have nothing to complain about. I guess it just happens sometimes.

I shall cheer myself in a few minutes by going to Kroger and purchasing some Girl Scout Cookies (made with real girl scouts). Mmm, tasty.

So. I received alliath's doesn't get a birthday present in the mail today. Part of it, anyway. The only problem with shopping for Ali is that I usually have to buy a second item for myself whenever I get her something. :P This year is no exception.

Somebody who is a Pisces should remind me of all the birthdays I'm forgetting. I know Ali and demonlet's birthdays, and I know whisperflight has one in here, sometime soon, but I cannae recall the precise date. Here's the part where I grovel shamelessly and ask for reminders.
