The dog ate my homework redneckfest!
Oct. 22nd, 2005 10:45 pmSo, Reba (yes, that's her name. Shush! I didn't name her!) had her first puppy this morning at 5:30. She had her last puppy (we hope!) this evening at 7:30. She's looking to be a good mama, but she's a real klutz, and as yet hasn't figured out that puppies ARE squashable. So we're keeping a constant watch on her, to prevent disaster. The grand total is six living puppies, and two that were born dead. ;_; Everybody else, four females and two males, looks to be in good shape. They are darling.
There will be pictures soon.

I'm not really squeamish, but I begin to suspect that veterinarians aren't vegetarians because of empathy for the animals. No, it is more likely because when you look at animal innards all day, your steak bears a startling resemblance to your work. And that's just not cool.
