YOUR LACK OF JOY DISTURBS ME.

I have acquired this thing.
BEST EVER. <3 <3 <3 <3
I celebrated my last day of school by heading to Joshua Tree with several bottles of wine.
go_dorito made us tasty dinner, and
storm_dancer,
shadowstitch, and I hung out and goofed around until about ten, when we'd run out of wine. The solution was clearly to call
benma and ask that he bring himself, another bottle of red, and Hero Quest over to join us.
We thereafter proceeded to illustrate how NOT to do a dungeoncrawl. The party immediately split up, started opening doors right and left, and ran from the horde of enemies we'd unleashed until, one by one, we were slain on the first level of the game. We suck.
...but it was lots of fun.
Today I need to get in the spirit, write Christmas cards, and wrap presents. I've almost finished my gift-shopping - a miracle, in and of itself - and just have a few other labor-intensive items that I need to complete. Right now I'm preparing to post final grades, email my students, andburn all my A&P notes pack away my notes from the class. I won't say it wasn't a good experience to have been through - I certainly learned a lot about teaching, managing a class, and - hey - anatomy and physiology, which I've never actually taken.
But I am so, SO glad it's over.
