Warmfuzzies for me!
Jul. 10th, 2007 08:50 amBackground: As I think I snarked before, the guy they hired instead of me for the full-time position at work last year is quitting at the end of this month. I don't blame him AT ALL, but I get to be just a little bit smug at the agency.
Yesterday, I called B--- at the South Office to track down some equipment, and she asked me, hopefully, if I were planning to apply for the job. (She is not the first to have done so.) She also told me she'd been rooting for me the first time around. B--- is one of those awesome people that you ASPIRE TO BE in my line of work, and she's one of the people in the agency that I really respect, so her words really meant a lot. ♥ WARMFUZZIES FOR ME.
