Not a Spider. Well, actually, it is.

Super-quick LJ update:

• Casper ate a spider this morning. WTF? He was playing with it, and I was just thinking that I should put it outside before he killed it (I am generally on congenial terms with spiders), and turned around to drop my backpack before going to get a spider-removing implement. And when I turned back around, he was going: NOM NOM NOM. FRESH TASTY SPIDER. Little kitty, that can't be good for you.

• PortalFest was awesome. Road-tripping with liggphys and wife was awesomererer. Thanks for minding the shop while I was away, zoonut.
  
• I learned this weekend that it is possible to eat yourself sick. I don't recommend it. Speaking of which...
  
• Did I mention that my cat, in a demonstration of pure culinary retardation, ate a spider???
  
• This weekend I head to Hotlanta to see TransFormers with my bestest buddy from the fourth grade. It is going to be awesome.
  
• Blackberry grits are surprisingly good.
