Chinese New Year: Full of awesome! I crashed overnight at the Trout-and-lemur pond, and thus also got leftovers. ♥ After everybody else left, we discovered we are not as old as we feared: We stayed up till 2 am talking. ...and woke up at 8 the next morning. Ugh. Maybe we are old.
Nightmares: I had lots of 'em last night, including an awful dream about Genrou struggling to survive at a vet clinic. I woke up with Nexus pressed closely to my head purring up a storm, as though she knew I was in kitty distress and needed a cuddly feline close by. I woke up four or five more times during the night from the same serialized dream about a group of people fighting against a Cthulu-esque evil plant alien thingy. It was awful, and I hated dropping back into the same dream every time; but at the end of the dream we-the-survivors were armed with RPGs and flamethrowers... so that was kind of cool. Also, somehow in this dream, a member of Blue Man Group asked demonlet for her phone number.
Monday: It's Monday morning, which means I should be at the gym. But I woke up so poorly rested and groggy (and 29 DEGREES OUTSIDE, AUGH) that I stayed home this morning and did some research work instead. I'll hit the gym this afternoon.
