Oops.

I was going to do fieldwork this morning. There are just a handful of plots that I need to sample, but they're sort of time-sensitive since the plants are beginning to die back with the cooler weather.

Except when I got up this morning it was raining.

My first thought was: "Well, hell. I'm a biologist. I'll suck it up and put on my rain slicker and... .... Oh. The site is a floodplain. That's probably a bad idea."

So in light of the fact that I don't want to drown, I'm putting it off until tomorrow.
