...yesterday. Better yet, last week. Or last month. Or last semester.
After a week of waiting, I finally heard back from the second person I've asked about why my reimbursement check for bills I turned in last May has not yet showed up in my box. It turns out the check has been held up in procurement because I need to "separate my work" and fill out a travel form for the gas and hotel bills I turned in.
A) Don't you think the GSC could have told me this when I was turning in my receipts in the first place? Or sometime between May and November, when they finally started answering my repeated e-mails asking about my reimbursement?
B) Procurement has been sitting on my check since November, while I was told "you'll have it by the end of the semester," "You'll have it before the new year," "You'll have it by the end of January." Perhaps it would not have been too much trouble for them to - you know - contact me and mention that there was a problem and I should fill out another form?
I think I am justified in being frustrated and angry at this point.
I am going to my cello lesson now, and by God I am going to enjoy it. ~.~
