Lightning FTW

I love thunderstorms. I was delighted to hear that they're part of the regular summer weather pattern in this area: Apparently they roll in during the afternoons a lot. We had one yesterday afternoon and again today.

I am absolutely giddy, however, to learn that this area gets those truly tremendous spreads of cloud-to-cloud chain lightning. Tonight's storm is rocking away, and the light show is GORGEOUS.
